Mobility and access
Notes from the company
What Jones Holidays says on its own page, word for word (we have not checked it ourselves):
- *Please Note: The hotel has a small lift to all floors, but due to the age and style of the building, steps are unavoidable when accessing most bedrooms.
- The hotel may therefore be unsuitable for guests with severe mobility difficulties.
Ring Jones Holidays to ask about steps, seating and walking before you book: 01352 733292 (number from the company's own website)
Questions worth asking before you book
- How many steps are there up to the coach, and is there a handrail?
- Can a walking stick, frame, rollator or wheelchair travel on this coach?
- How far is the walk from the coach drop-off to the main sights, and is the ground flat?
- Is the hotel on one level or does it have a lift, and are there ground-floor rooms?
